Thailand is the sixth most popular destination for Chinese property buyers worldwide, and the number one is Asia according to data released by one of the country’s top property websites.
Chinese property buyers and investors are now a huge force in international property markets, and the kingdom is now the most popular buying destination for Chinese buyers in Asia, according to the research from juwai.com.
Thailand is currently getting a lot of attention from investors in many countries, and China is certainly no exception. The impact of the introduction of AEC 2015 is thought to be one driving factor for Chinese buyers in Thailand, which will allow them wider access to ASEAN markets through their Thailand property purchases.
A small number of real estate agencies in Thailand now have Chinese-speaking staff to cater to the increasing number of enquiries they are receiving from mainland and Hong Kong buyers.
