A frozen food factory in Bangpoo Industrial Estate outside Bangkok is being offered for sale with a THB95 million discount from its original asking price.
The 15-year-old property is located in the Free Zone of Bangpoo Industrial Estate in Samut Prakarn province, approximately 20 kilometres from Bangkok.
The factory processed frozen fish products including salmon, trout, cod, saith and hoki fillets, and value added products in a variety of shelf ready packaging.
Historically the site also produced a variety of coated seafood products.
Production space amounts to more than 5,600 sqm, and the property also boasts offices, a canteen, two guard houses and land.
Marcus Burtenshaw, Knight Frank’s Executive Director, Head of Commercial, told DDproperty.com: “The property has been thoughtfully and efficiently laid out, with a production line that met international food safety standards, and benefited from cold storage and loading docks.”
He added: “Furthermore, it also represents tremendous value for money. Land parcels in Bangpoo Industrial Estate today are fetching more than THB9 million per rai, so this climate-controlled factory that sits on 6.95 rai, comes with valuable machinery including an air conditioning systems, spiral freezers, blast freezers, plate freezers and many more assets, should appeal to broad range of buyers, from exporters who require a clean and climate controlled facility, to opportunistic investors.”
The frozen food factory is being marketed by Knight Frank Thailand and is on the market for THB125 million, including plant and machinery – a discount of THB95 million from its original asking price.
