The Four Seasons Bangkok is set to be reflagged to the luxury Anantara brand with major enhancements planned for the 354-room hotel, revealed its operator Minor Hotel Group.

Built in 1978, the property is located in the prestigious Rajadamri neighbourhood. It will be rebranded as the Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel & Spa in March 2015.

Considered the preferred destination for discerning travelers, the hotel’s facilities include seven restaurants and bars, a spa, outdoor swimming pool and grand ballroom. The main business, nightlife and shopping districts, including the scenic Lumphini Park are within easy accessibility.

Commenting, William E. Heinecke, CEO and Chairman of Minor International said: “Owning this prestigious hotel in the heart of Bangkok and working with the fantastic team during its time as Four Seasons Bangkok has been an amazing journey. I am looking forward to continuing the journey in the next stage of this property’s life as Anantara Siam.”

Anantara was launched by Mr. Heinecke in 2001 and now has over 20 luxury properties in eight countries, with a future pipeline of more than ten hotels and resorts.

Minor Hotel Group operates 120 hotels and resorts across Asia Pacific and other parts of the world.
