Thailand property developer Sansiri has raised its revenue target for 2015 to THB36 billion – up THB 2 billion – due to what it described as a very positive business outlook.
Sales targets have also been increase, to THB35 billion from THB30 billion, due to what it says has been a “very good” response from recent ‘Joy of Hua Hin in Bangkok’ and ‘Now or Never” sales promotions in the past few months.
Srettha Thavisin (pictured), President of Sansiri, said: “We are highly satisfied with our operating results during the first quarter of 2015, having recently completely sold another important detached home project – Setthasiri Charan-Pinklao.
“This project alone generated up to THB300 million in sales during February.
“Our ‘The Joy of Hua Hin in Bangkok’ promotional campaign also generated more than THB600 million in just two days during early March.
More recently, the ‘Now or Never’ campaign also received a very warm welcome from prospective buyers and generated more than THB1.5 billion during the two weeks of the campaign period.”
During Q1 2015, the company also enjoyed success in attracting a substantial number of foreign property buyers to invest in Thailand through its recent ‘dcondo Mine’ roadshow in Hong Kong, which received great interest from overseas buyers and investors.
Such an achievement in attracting foreign buyers was also a result of the highly successful ‘Rental for the Holidays’ service offered by Plus Property, Sansiri’s property management subsidiary, which was debut last year.
In line with last year’s strong overseas performance, Sansiri has aimed to increase the number of its foreign condominium buyers even further – from 6 percent to 10 percent of total condominium customers.
During Q2 2015 the company aims to unveil new projects. The first such project will be ‘The Monument – Sanampao’, which will be located 300 metres from BTS Sanampao Skytrain station.
The project is valued at THB1.4 billion Baht.
Secondly, BTS-Sansiri Holding One Co – the joint-venture between Sansiri and BTS Group Holdings Plc – will unveil ‘The Line Jatujak – Mochit’ under the concept ‘Location is Everything’, signifying its ultimate location that will benefit from both BTS and MRT mass transit systems. The THB5.6 billion mega-project is planned for a grand premiere during the second quarter of the year.
Sansiri plans to complete 17 ready-to-move-in condominium projects, both in Bangkok and upcountry, as guided by its ‘Engineer for Growth’ business strategy. These new projects are expected to contribute to Sansiri’s strong and sustainable business growth and increased profitability.
