Paris Hilton will make her triumphant return to the Philippines real estate market with a branded development on Luzon Island. Century Properties Group has teamed up with the celebrity socialite once again for a project that will be located in San Fernando. The pair worked together on the Paris Beach Club which is part of the Azure Urban Resort Residences on the island.
This is just another sign of the country’s soaring property market with Luzon Island along with towns and cities close to Metro Manila expected to be the front runners of this real estate expansion. Several other high profile projects are also taking shape including a joint venture between Filinvest Land and the Bases Conversion and Development Authority that is modeled on the successful Bonifacio Global City and will be located in the Clark Green City should both sides reach a deal.
Other projects that have drawn the attention of buyers include Amore @ Portofino which is part of the Vista City “communicity” and Botanika Nature Residences which is located just outside Metro Manila. The Courtlands Vermosa is another development making waves for some of its lifestyle features which include a sports science laboratory plus a massive retail space.
The areas to keep a close eye on are highly urbanized cities and municipalities in Cavite, Laguna and Pampanga provinces, Jacqueline van den Ende, founder and managing director of Lamudi.com.ph explains. She adds, “Property developers have launched several mixed-use projects in these emerging locations, most notably Ayala Land’s 700-hectare Vermosa township along Daang Hari Road in Imus and Dasmariñas.”
Not only is Luzon Island close to the Metro Manila but it is situated near two international airports, NAIA and Clark. This, along with the fact the region has more lucrative job opportunities as well as strong support from local government, has seen its investment potential skyrocket. However, there are a few things to consider. For starters, the region is prone to natural disasters such as earthquakes and typhoons which can cause a lot of devastation. In addition to this, there are already concerns about overpopulation with this likely only to get worse in the future.
