Property developers are now looking to collaborate with other businesses in an attempt to provide homebuyers with more services and create a community spot for them. Not only can this make life easier for residents but in some cases it adds value to the residential projects themselves since they can promote this community concept.
Property Perfect’s chief business development officer, Wongsakorn Prasitvipat, revealed that the company’s business strategy is to develop communities in the locations surrounding their residential projects as it allows for the needs of consumers’ lifestyles to be met.
The developer has invited Too Fast To Sleep, a Bangkok-based coffee shop, to open a new branch at iCondo Salaya 2 the Campus, in one such move to create a community. Another example is the development of the Metro West Gate mall at Kallaprapruk-Sathorn, a project that is near Property Perfect’s Metro Park Sathorn.
The company is also building a condominium along Sukhumvit 77 near Stamford University and will develop Metro East Gate mall in front of the project to help establish a community for residents. “Developing residential projects that serve consumers’ lifestyle demands will offer satisfaction and boost the value of the property in the future,” Wongsakorn pointed out.
LPN Development has also embraced the community concept. Its Lumpini Township Rangsit Klong 1 will have a community mall called the Market Place nearby. Siam Future Development will manage this retail space which will also include a medical clinic to allow for an immediate response to any medical emergencies.
“This is a next generation concept when it comes to residential projects because customers need more facilities inside the complex,” LPN Development managing director Opas Sripayak explained. “The more facilities a project has the more its value will rise in the long term.”
