Major Development announced plans to launch a luxury condominium situated on Sukhumvit Soi 23 near Asoke. The new development, which is worth THB2.8 billion, highlights Major’s confidence in Bangkok’s residential luxury segment.
The developer intends to launch Muniq Sukhumvit 23 in September and is hoping the project can be 60 percent sold out before the end of this year. The luxury development will be 36-stories tall and feature a total of 201 units. Prices are expected to start at THB6.9 million per unit.
“Muniq Sukhumvit 23 is a brand specifically curated to cater to the present day premium buyers, especially those with urban lifestyle. The project’s location is right in the heart of Bangkok’s CBD with full amenities for modern life and Bangkok lifestyle living,” Dr. Suriya Poolvoralak, managing director of Major Development, said in a press release. “Muniq Sukhumvit 23 is surrounded by leading malls, premium office space, hotels, hospitals, restaurants, schools and universities and it is in close proximity of BTS and MRT stations.”
Dr. Suriya noted that condo buyers in the high-end segment are limited, but their purchasing power remains strong even in the difficult economic climate. This is why Major is developing Muniq Sukhumvit 23 with a number of features designed to appeal to buyers in this segment.
“The project is inspired by our viewpoint that sees living as art, and there should be a balance between working life and personal life,” Dr. Suriya noted. “Our target buyer is clear. They are in their late 20s to early 30s, mid-career professionals who are on their way of building their own wealth and security. They have modern and sophisticated lifestyles.”
Marque Sukhumvit was the last luxury condo project launched by Major. That project is worth over THB7 billion and was unveiled in 2013 as part of a joint venture. Other upscale projects currently under development by Major include M Thonglor 10, which is located on Ekkamai Soi 12.
