The Line Jatujak–Mochit has been completed by BTS Group and Sansiri, 2 years after it launched. It is the 1st of many projects being developed by the pair’s joint venture company, BTS Sansiri Holding Group. The Line brand features projects that are close to public transportation stations.
“The LINE Jatujak–Mochit is our 1st development; it is as an excellent creation in all dimensions, a phenomenal success. 2 years ago, it marked a new chapter in Thailand’s real estate market. Today, we are ready to build on this success by combining BTS Group’s financial strengths and ownership of land in excellent locations with Sansiri’s real-estate expertise to develop many new projects in the future,” says Kavin Kanchanapas, Chief Executive Officer of the BTS Group Holdings, in a press release.
Both Thai and international buyers acquired units in the project and the joint venture company held road shows in Hong Kong and Singapore to promote the condo. With construction now finished, unit inspections and ownership transfers are now underway at the condo. A total of THB3 billion worth of property is expected to be transferred to homebuyers by the end of 2017.
“Our international roadshows attracted more than 2,500 visitors. The ratio of Thai to foreign buyers of this development is 85 per cent to 15 per cent. Thanks to its success, BTS Group and Sansiri have unveiled many new developments under The Line brand, including The Line Sukhumvit 71, The Line Ratchathewi, The Line Asoke–Ratchada, whose sales we were able to close during the presales days,” says Apichart Chutrakul, Chief Executive Officer of Sansiri Plc.
The projects are part of the joint venture’s 5-year investment plan that has 25 projects worth of THB100 billion. The company will complete 3 more condos worth THB10.2 billion next year and expects to start ownership transfers at these projects as well.
