Magnolia Quality Development Corporation Limited (MQDC) is looking to develop living solutions as it wants to expand its reach beyond providing housing. It will invest THB 6 billion over the next 10 years to advance health & well being, security and energy consumption technology at its projects in Thailand.
The developer hopes to create a full-feature home intelligence system that addresses these 3 sectors and will implement it at Whizdom Ratchada –Thapra, one of its projects. The development is scheduled to open in 2018. Should MQDC be successful, the system would be the first of its kind in Thailand.

MQDC’s Research & Innovation for Sustainability Center will partner with start-up Obotron to design, activate, and monitor innovations that involve living technologies, data collection, and artificial intelligence. These innovations will look to improve energy efficiency, provide health systems, and offer lifestyle control that will eventually be integrated into all of the developer’s future projects.
