Infinity Condominium is hoping foreigner buyers are attracted to Phuket’s Bang Tao area. The project’s developer held the grand opening for the 7-storey luxury condo project targeting high-end users and, in particular, international buyers who would be attracted to its upscale features and design, reports Phuket-based media.
“Construction will start by end of the year and is expected to be completed in two years. The units will be available for sale starting from the grand opening day. Even at this stage, we have received a lot of positive feedback from our agents. From an investment point of view, we can see that Bang Tao is developing gradually. Areas like Patong are over-saturated, so other areas, particularly Kamala and Bang Tao in the north, are garnering more attention,” says Apiwat Chaiyarat, the project’s General Manager, to the Phuket Gazette.
There will be a total of 78 units at Infinity Condominium including 1- and 2-bedroom units as well as a 2-bedroom deluxe unit. Unit sizes start at 59 sq. metres and there a number of facilities in the development designed to attract buyers.
“The unique thing about this project is the size of the rooms. A 10-bedroom unit is 59 sq. metres, which is rarely found in Phuket. The general size of other 1-bedroom condominiums is only about 30-40 sq. metres. Even though the price is higher than other projects, we are offering a valuable product with a full range of service such as fitness rooms, swimming pool, parking, yoga, playground, rooftop lounge and 24/7 security,” says Apiwat
Even though it is not the most popular location in Phuket at the moment, the fact Bang Tao is centrally located and less busy than more popular locations could make it attractive to buyers, according to the developer.
“Bang Tao has access to many places like temples, nightlife venues, shopping centres, restaurants and Phuket International Airport. You can also walk to Bang Tao Beach or enjoy the services at Catch Beach Club which is right in front of Infinity Condominium,” says Apiwat.
