Sansiri and its Japanese partner, Tokyu Corporation, are planning to launch a low-rise condo development worth THB2 billion in September, according to a company press release. The 2 companies are also looking at developing a township project in the future.
The Taka Haus condo development will be located on Ekamai Soi 12 and feature a 7-storey and an 8-storey building. There will be 269 units and Sansiri plans to begin construction in December. The condo should be finished in 2019. The project will be marketed to buyers in Thailand and Japan.

“This alliance between Sansiri and the Tokyu Corporation stems from the similarities between our business philosophies. Sansiri and Tokyu Corporation are also exploring the possibility of long-term collaboration. The latter has experience in developing an entire town while Sansiri built a township in Bangkok’s On Nut area. The 2 partners can also use their experience in different fields to help develop these massive projects. Tokyu Corporation is both a private railway company and land developer in Japan.

As Bangkok is still expanding its transport infrastructure, we believe that there is potential for even more demand for residential developments along these mass rapid transit lines.
