Paka Show Park Krabi

Pixel One revealed the entire plans for PAKA Showpark Krabi, a project that will eventually include a concert amphitheater, theatre, restaurant and open-air event space. The entire park will cost THB400 million to build and is located five minutes away from Krabi International Airport. In a press release, the developers stated a desire to build a new creative landmark in Krabi.

“We believe that PAKA Showpark Krabi will be a new creative tourism destination that should not be missed which turns signature traditions and cultures of Southern Thailand into unprecedented, yet amazing, unique architectural designs, performances, and pieces of arts to offer visitors a brand-new experience” Chatuphol Sitthichai, managing director at Pixel One stated in the press release.

He added, “This showpark is built up as premium tourist attraction with an intention to turn Krabi, which is Thailand’s third most visited city, into a global destination. It has a lot of potential to grow continuously considering the purchasing power and the number of tourists coming each year.”

Paka Show Park Krabi
PAKA Showpark will be the largest entertainment complex in Krabi when fully completed. Park Pakasai is the first phase of the project and is scheduled to be completed on 1st December. For the first three months it will host Krabi Illuminorah, an LED light festival that marries local dancing arts with modern performing arts. Other areas of the park including Phanom Benja Amphitheater and Phra-Nang Theater will open over the next couple of years.

“The developments will be brought to nearby areas and help boost the city’s tourism. The park will draw more tourists who always come only for beaches to the town, and complement the nightlife of Krabi,” Pinit Boonlerd, the governor of Krabi province, said in a statement. “The number of foreign tourists who came to Thailand from January to July stands at 17.5 million this year, with a total spending of around THB818 million.”
