Pace Development has unveiled its MahaSamutr Country Club Hua Hin, what it claims to be Thailand’s first world-class all-activity members-only country club.
Located in the 120-rai MahaSamutr Hua Hin development on the Hua Hin 112 road, the MahaSamutr Country Club will offer a comprehensive range of activities as well as the highest quality of facilities found at one of the world’s best country clubs.
The MahaSamutr Country Club Hua Hin will primarily targets families, with facilities to satisfy the lifestyle needs of every member of the family in all age groups, from toddlers to the elderly. The club comes complete with sports activities, lifestyle amenities, entertainment and dining venues in a private, peaceful, and natural setting.
The MahaSamutr Country Club is being operated under the supervision of a team of world-class professionals. Among the club’s highlight features is a massive 45-rai man-made lagoon with clear, turquoise waters – the largest in Asia. The country club is costing approximately THB2.3 billion to build.
Sorapoj Techakraisri (pictured), Chief Executive Officer of Pace Development, said: “MahaSamutr Country Club Hua Hin is the first country club in Thailand to be of truly world-class standards and offering a total and comprehensive range of activities and facilities.
“While we are building it to the standards of the world’s best country clubs, we are offering initial memberships at a rate that represents double or triple the value when compared to the same class of exclusive country clubs in Singapore and Hong Kong.”
He added that his company is aiming for 1,000 members in 2015 and expect 75 percent of them to be Thai members and 25 percent to be expatriate and overseas members.
Membership is available to individuals and families on a life and annual basis with fees starting from THB500,000 for an individual, up to THB1 million for a family life membership.
MahaSamutr Country Club Hua Hin Phase 1 is due to be completed in mid-2016, and the entire development is expected to be completed in late 2017.
