The Thailand Property Awards 2015 returned on 16th September honoring the best real estate in the country. The winners and highly commended were on hand to receive their prizes in an exclusive, black-tie awards gala held at the Plaza Athenee Bangkok.
SC Asset Corporation won the night’s biggest award taking home the title of Best Developer. ‘MQDC’ Magnolia Quality Development Corporation, the other Best Developer nominee, received a Highly Commended certificate in the same category and was also received Special Recognition in Corporate Social Responsibility for their efforts.
SC Asset has completed more than 50 successful projects in the last five years with the goal of creating sustainable and lively neighborhoods. The company also won the Best Housing Development (Bangkok) award for its Granada Pinklao project that featured a smart design and user-friendly amenities.
It was also a big night for Minor International. The company’s founder, CEO and chairman, WIlliam “Bill” E. Heinecke, was presented the Thailand Real Estate Personality of the Decade award. Minor International was also the most nominated developer this year with the company and its subsidiaries in the running for five awards. Minor would end up winning one award and grabbing four highly commended honors.
Another developer that had a great night was Pruksa Real Estate Public Company. The developer received two highly-coveted development awards –including Best Luxury Condo Development (Bangkok) for Ivy Ampio, and Best Affordable Condo Development (Bangkok) for Chapter One: The Campus Kaset. Ivy Ampio would go on to win Best Condo Development (Thailand), one of the most prestigious awards of the entire event.
More than 500 real estate VIPs and top industry leaders were in attendance with Jumpol Sumpaopol, deputy governor of Bangkok, on hand to give the opening keynote speech at the event. The awards promote a fair and transparent nomination and judging process that lasts for six months and includes site inspections and independent judging from a panel of experts.
