Sansiri continues to stake its claim to the Phuket market after recently launching the second phase of Saransiri Koh Kaew, the developer’s latest Phuket development. Local media reported that the announcement comes following the sale of all available units in the first phase of the project.
“Sales have been better than expected,” Metha Anwatanapanich, the senior executive vice president of Sansiri’s business and project development division, told the Phuket Gazette. “The new homes in phase one went on the market in May and 31 of them were sold by July so we are now ready to proceed with phase two.”
The development is situated on a 50-rai land plot next to the British International School in Koh Kaew. The project has a total of 202 two-story detached houses as well as a number of communal amenities including a clubhouse and a swimming pool that are exclusively for residents to use.
Each unit at the first phase has three bedrooms and two bathrooms and also comes with an expansive living and dining room on the lower floor. There is also a two-space car park.
The 171 houses to be built at the second phase are going to be slightly larger than those at the first. The phase, known as ‘Baan Sanrak’, has more square meters and features larger bedrooms and a third bathroom. According to the newspaper, unit prices start from THB5.15 million.
This is the developer’s second major move in Phuket this year. In January, Sansiri officially launched its Baan Mai Khao beachfront condominium on the north end of the island. That project featured a total of 206 units that has single units, duplexes and penthouses.
Other projects by the company on the island include The Base Phuket, dCondo Kathu and The Deck in Patong. The company targets both end users and investors for its Phuket developments.
