Hua Hin Marriott Resort & Spa

Hua Hin Marriott Resort & Spa, the Thai Colonial designed resort with a total of 322 rooms, finally opened its doors amid great fanfare, the company announced via a press release. The property is loaded with a number of state-of-the-art facilities and is the newest resort to pop up in Hua Hin.

The hotel is situated on the beachfront and offers easy access to the Hua Hin city center. The project was inspired by the “Marriott Modern” design philosophy and the new resort provides a unique appeal and excitement along with a number of cutting edge features.

“We are delighted to open our doors and welcome guests to Hua Hin’s first Marriott Hotels branded hotel. Marriott International signed agreements with TCC Land Asset World in 2013 to manage seven new hotels across Thailand,” Karl Hudson, area vice president, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines, Cambodia and Japan said in the press release. “Three properties are scheduled to open this year and Hua Hin Marriott Resort & Spa is the first to debut.”

The some rooms at Hua Hin Marriott Resort & Spa contain views of the sea and others even offer direct access to the property’s lagoon shaped swimming pool that serves as the heart of the resort. Guests will also find an adults-only swimming pool that provides older folks with a place to relax. The resort boasts a number of kids’ activities including a beachfront Kid’s Club, a kid’s pool, a water slide and a treehouse, according to the company’s press release.

“Hua Hin is a famous vacation getaway for both local and international travelers. Demand from inbound travel from Thai residents has been strong and we see the number of foreign visitors increasing, at 5.63 percent year over year,” Hudson noted. “Hua Hin has a lot of potential as it offers various activities and attractions, and it is merely 200 kilometers from Bangkok. The introduction of Hua Hin Marriott Resort & Spa will increase the city’s accommodation to 2,341 rooms.”
