Thai real estate developer A.D. Houses will partner with Best Western Hotels & Resorts to build four Best Western Plus hotels in resort destinations in Thailand, the two parties announced in a press release. The deal is the largest multi-hotel agreement in brand’s 70-year history.
“In addition to celebrating Best Western’s 70th birthday this year, 2016 also marks our 15th year of having a strong presence in Asia. I am thrilled to mark these milestones with the signing of such an important agreement,” Ron Pohl, Best Western Hotels & Resorts’ senior vice president of brand management explained.
Three of the four hotels will become the largest properties in the Best Western Hotels & Resorts international portfolio. Three of the projects will be opened in Pattaya and the fourth will be located in Hua Hin and have a combined total of 4,150 rooms. The Best Western Plus AD Wongamart Pattaya, Best Western Plus AD The Grand Jomtien Beach Pattaya, Best Western Plus AD Bang Saray Lake and Resort and Best Western Plus AD Hua Hin Lake and Resort will be the new properties..

At the moment there are eight hotels and resorts in Thailand operated by Best Western Hotels & Resorts. These hotels fall under the Best Western, Best Western Plus and Best Western Premier brands. The company also revealed in the press release that it will open its first two Vīb hotels in Bangkok sometime in 2017 and 2018.
