Phuket Marriott Resort and Spa Nai Yang Beach

Marriott continues to open new properties in Thailand and the company recently launched the Phuket Marriott Resort and Spa, Nai Yang Beach as part of its expansion plans. The property will cater to both international and domestic tourists who visit this relatively quiet part of the island.

The resort will feature a total of 180 rooms and is located within the Sirinath National Park. The entire property is surrounded by tropical vegetation and lush green forest giving it a unique appeal. The old town of Nai Yang is very close to the hotel while Phuket International Airport is ten-minute drive away.

“Phuket welcomes approximately 12 million visitors per year, mostly tourists from European and Asian countries. Phuket is one of the largest contributors to Thailand’s tourism industry, bringing around THB200 billion to the country each year,” David Ippersiel, general manager of the Phuket Marriott Resort and Spa, Nai Yang Beach, explained in a press release. “The opening of Phuket Marriott Resort and Spa, Nai Yang Beach, will address the needs of both local and international travelers.”

In order to cater to this diverse range of visitors, the resort will offer two unique room styles. There will be traditional, Thai-style accommodations with relaxing earth tones as well as sleek-looking contemporary rooms with modern and innovative touches. A number of pool villas can also be found on-site and are located directly along the beachfront.

Phuket Marriott Resort and Spa, Nai Yang Beach will also have several restaurants with both Thai and international cuisines being available. The signature eatery is Big Fish Restaurant & Bar which serves fresh seafood and offers a wide range of cocktails including signature drinks made famous in Phuket.

The hotel also has a number of features for guests to use including a lagoon-inspired swimming pool, a 24-hour fitness center, meeting rooms, a full-service spa and a beachside kid’s club.
