Big news for The Residences by Anantara as the luxury residential development received the highly coveted Five Star Property Award for Residential Development at the annual Asia Pacific Property Awards. The project is most well-known for its views of Layan Beach and being the first branded residences for Anantara.
Exclusivity is one of the highlights of the project and The Residences are made up of 15 uniquely designed luxury residences. The Five Star Property Award for Residential Development was hotly contested this year and The Residences by Anantara overcame Sansiri’s The Deck Patong Phuket and Regal Assets The Prominence.
“We are delighted and proud to have received this recognition from our peers in the industry,” Micah Tamthai, vice president, real estate for Minor International, said in a press release. “With so many luxury offerings in the region, it is indeed an honor to be singled out for the excellence and quality of our residences.”
Units at the development range from three to nine bedrooms and each one is equipped with an infinity pool that offers residents a 180-degree view of the Andaman Sea. Those staying at The Residences by Anantara are also able to indulge in the amenities and services offered at the nearby Anantara Layan Phuket Resort. These amenities include the Anantara Spa, two swimming pools and a gym. Owners also have a range of exclusive services available to them such as in-residence dining and in-residence spa treatments.
“We are excited to introduce the ultimate luxurious Anantara lifestyle experience to owners. Located in one of Phuket’s most coveted areas, and with only 15 villas available, this development is a true symbol of prestige and exclusivity,” Dillip Rajakarier, CEO of Minor Hotels Group, stated.
The project was designed by the late Jaya Ibrahim who was inspired by the local culture and natural environment of the Andaman Coast. This led him to use design elements found in this region to create the villas at The Residences which offer a contemporary interpretation of Thai culture.
