TCC Assets has launched The Parq near Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC) as it looks to establish this area of Bangkok as a key commercial district. The development will cost THB20 billion to build and have office space, retail zones, restaurants, and a hospitality component, according to media reports.
“The Parq is conveniently interconnected to retail zones, restaurants, and hospitality components. The office space offers the largest floor plate of any commercial office in Bangkok, which is also column-free. It also enjoys direct access to the QSNCC MRT station,” says Panot Sirivadhanabhakdi, Director of TCC Assets, to the Bangkok Post.
Construction on the project has already started with the development’s 1st phase, which will have office and retail space, expected to open in the 2nd half of 2019. Work on the entire project should be finished by 2023. The 2nd phase will also have premium office space as well as a hospitality zone that will be designed for business people and anyone going to conventions and conferences at QSNCC.
Palmer & Turner was selected as the architectural firm for The Parq while PIA Interior was hired to handle the interior design. In addition to large green areas, the office space at the development has been designed with modern companies in mind.
“Our column-free floor plate, the largest of any commercial office in Bangkok, will meet the ongoing trend of companies wanting to consolidate their operations on a single floor for better internal communications and more collaborative workspaces,” says Su Lin Soon, Chief Executive for Development of The Parq.
The land the property is located on was leased from the Crown Property Bureau for 30 years and there is an option to renew the lease for another 30 years. TCC Assets wants The Parq to be Thailand’s 1st development that is both LEED Gold and WELL-certified.
