4TH Holiday Inn Express Opens In Bangkok

The 4th Holiday Inn Express hotel has been launched by InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) in Bangkok. Holiday Inn Express Bangkok Soi Soonvijai has a total of 206 rooms and is located near several international hospitals allowing it to serve the growing number of medical tourists visiting the Thai capital.

“Holiday Inn Express is one of our fastest-growing hotel brands. This is fuelled by a rising demand from self-sufficient travellers seeking an engaging place to rest, recharge – and get work done. We’re excited to expand our select service offering in Bangkok, one of the world’s most visited cities, with the opening of our 4th Holiday Inn Express,” says Clarence Tan, Chief Operating Officer, South East Asia & Korea, IHG, in a press release.

The Holiday Inn Express Bangkok Soi Soonvijai is a 2-minute walk away from Bangkok Hospital and is also close to Piyavate Hospital and Rama 9 Hospital. The hotel is located on Soi Soonvijai and offers access to Bangkok’s major roads as well as shopping, entertainment, and dining options. SHOW DC, Central Rama 9, Terminal 21, and EmQuartier are all within driving distance.

“The Holiday Inn Express brand is renowned for providing guests with a frictionless experience in the best locations, and Holiday Inn Express Bangkok Soi Soonvijai is no exception. With its excellent proximity to some of Bangkok’s best hospitals, major offices and most popular shopping malls, our newest hotel will be a smart choice for medical tourists, as well as business and leisure travellers alike. We are delighted to start welcoming guests,” says Rohan Choudhury, General Manager, IHG.

Holiday Inn Express Bangkok Soi Soonvijai is the 6th Holiday Inn Express to open in Thailand with 4 of these properties located in Bangkok. A total of 22 IHG properties are now open in the country. Thailand has the largest number of hotels in South East Asia, and the company is planning to open as many as 14 more properties in the next 3 to 5 years.
