More Condos To Be Built Near BTS Stations

Grand Unity Development has selected sites across Bangkok that are located next to the BTS Skytrain network for its upcoming condo developments, reports local media. The developer wants to expand its market presence in 2018 and hopes the move will allow it to attract new customers.

Grand Unity Development launched a new brand strategy called “Simply Makes Sense”, which will see the company develop new projects aimed at catering to the lifestyle of millennials. The developer will launch 4 new projects in 2018 all near BTS stations to help meet this goal.

“With changing consumer trends, Grand Unity has chosen to position our condos in prime communal areas, conveniently located next to the BTS to provide convenience and easy commuting. We give importance to aesthetics by utilising simplistic designs with great attention to detail, taking into consideration everyday usage,” says Grand Unity Development Managing Director Siripong Srisawangwong to the Bangkok Post.

The projects will also be situated by popular areas in addition to being close to mass transit stations. These areas include Sripatum University, the Chao Phraya, and near the Chatuchak Market. The new developments will target middle to high-end customers and the company is looking at ways it can meet the needs of this group.

“At the same time, we choose the best quality materials that are true to value and practical. Most importantly, every condominium project by Grand Unity will have to undertake an EIA [environmental impact assessment] before any presales, in order to comply with environmental laws as well as ensure that the surrounding community will thrive as a happy and prosperous place for our future residents,” says Siripong.

The company hopes the shift in focus allows it to compete in the highly competitive property market. Grand Unity Development has noticed that the next generation of consumers now have more purchasing power and it wants to be able to reach these buyers moving forward.
