Sansiri has announced that it will launch 31 residential projects in 2018 worth a total of THB63 billion combined, reports local media. There will be 12 new condos launched by Sansiri as well as 11 townhouse developments and 8 single-detached house complexes. The company is looking at new trends this year and will use these to help find new business opportunities.
“For the current year, the company foresees 3 significant trends – domestic and global economic recovery; changes in consumer behaviour and a new way of living; and technology disruption that represents new opportunities for many businesses,” says Sansiri Chief Operating Officer Uthai Uthaisangsuk.
Sansiri is focused on having an adaptive ability while also utilising technology disruption to help it become a trendsetter. Among the planned launches in 2018 will be the 1st Standard Residence and the 1st Monocle Residence in Thailand as the company hopes to expand its offerings to appeal to more customers.
“This year, the company will, therefore, focus on offering a wide range of property projects with various impressive services that best address different needs of all customer groups and expanding customer base in Bangkok, provinces and foreign countries. Another important direction for this year is to continue and strengthen partnership with existing and new local and international companies,” says Uthai.
The developer also hopes to increase pre-sales among foreign buyers and has set a target of THB13 billion for international clients this year. This total is an increase of 40 per cent when compared to overseas pre-sales last year. Sansiri will focus its pre-sales efforts in Asia with Hong Kong, South Korea, Taiwan, and Japan all targets.
There are also plans to launch between 4 to 6 projects with its partners BTS Group Holdings Plc and Tokyu Group. The developments will be valued between THB12 billion and THB19 billion and the company will release more details later in the year.
