[Special Advertising Feature] A clever and unique concept of specially designed, distinct living spaces coming together in a forest setting defines the exceptional Whizdom The Forestias by MQDC Town Royal Place, a brand under the Magnolia Quality Development Corporation.
The developer has created a vertical living that harmonises with nature in Samut Prakan, just outside of Bangkok, on the way to the Eastern Economic Corridor.
Connecting generations and lifestyles within a forest community that is an integral part of the ecosystem are at the heart of the condo project; balance and sustainability are at the cornerstones of the design ethos.
This year’s 14th annual PropertyGuru Thailand Property Awards showered the property with numerous wins, including Best Mid End Condo Interior Design (Bangkok) and Best Green Development, as well as a highly commended in the Best Mid End Condo Architectural Design (Bangkok) category.
Bringing creative energy to the architectural design is renowned Foster + Partners (Thailand), part of a world-renowned British-established company with international reach. Global architecture and design company for over 25 years, DWP Design Worldwide Partnership are intuitively linking the interiors with the philosophy of green living spaces for urbanites.
Meanwhile, Bangkok-based P Landscape is crafting the outdoors by enhancing the site’s environment and ecology, ensuring that, “the landscape is the medium which enables a connection between people and nature.”
With 1,119 units, the three-tower condominium is home to six different types of rooms, while 889 of these being one or two bedrooms. There are also three-bedroom units, loft-style apartments, duplexes, and 44 penthouse suites. This variety is aimed at appealing to different markets, embracing a wide residential scope, reflected not only in the size and style of the unit but within the design as well, which was praised by this year’s judges.
“Interiors at Whizdom The Forestias are designed to become an extension of the forest landscape, while MQDC Town Royal Place also reflects the separate identity of each tower through an imaginative style approach that resonates with families, individuals, and pet-friendly residents.”
Architecturally, the units are designed in such a way as to give each a different forest vista, whether a panoramic view from up high or a more grounded, connected feeling to the forest down below. Balconies are also a way for residents to feel immersed in greenery. The natural landscape stands between the city and the towers, which are all individually designed, with a walkway connecting the two.
One tower is aimed at families to grow, with light and trees all around, while the tower created individualistic and creative loft spaces with impressive 5.4-metre ceilings and a wider forest view. On the other hand, the third tower was developed with facilities ideal for residents with pets.
The interiors echo the feeling of a peaceful and fresh environment, where the greenery outside acts as the backdrop to the modern interiors. Outdoors, an al fresco lounge, walkway, and water feature, as well as the softscaping and hardscaping, all play with light and shadow to create spaces that strengthen the ties between lifestyle and nature.
With 50 percent of the building footprint designated as an ecological open space, Whizdom The Forestias enhances wellbeing as do the next-gen facilities from the Sky Lobby to the swimming pool and fitness centre, all of which are set within an inspiring green landscape.
