Momentum is mounting for the annual PropertyGuru Thailand Property Awards. The 14th edition is set to be the largest gala ceremony to date with 64 categories having added a further 12 categories since 2018.
This prestigious awards event is being held on Friday 9 August 2019 at a black-tie gala at Athenee Hotel’s ballroom. It is expected that over 600 guests will attend the ceremony led by JLL’s Thailand country manager Suphin Mechuchep who heads up the independent judging panel and is supported by other panellists well-known in the industry.
Already the Thailand Real Estate Personality of the Year has been announced as Origin Property CEO Peerapong Jaroon-ek, and a shortlist has already announced for other accolades which focus on property in Bangkok, Samui, Hua Hin, Khao Yai, Phang-Nga & Krabi, Phuket, and the Eastern Seaboard.
Leading the way is Magnolia Quality Development Corporation Limited (MQDC) who have previously secured the Best Developer award who this year hold 15 nominations including the Special Recognition in Sustainable Development. Other developers with numerous nominations include boutique developer Habitat Group and AP (Thailand) who have both secured awards in previous years.
The grandeur and wide-reaching coverage of the awards demonstrate the strength and professionalism of the Thai property market that has led to the growth of this event. New categories include Best Hotel Residence, Best Senior Living Architectural Design, and Best Smart Home Development suggesting the diversity found in the property industry today as well as highlighting the advances in technology that are improving the construction and functioning on the property through smart solutions.
Coincidentally WiseSight, as smart solutions company, is announcing six new awards focused solely on this aspect that include: Best Digital Performance Condo Development (Bangkok), Best Digital Performance Housing Development (Bangkok), Best Digital Performance Condo Development (Provincial), Best Digital Performance Housing Development (Provincial), Best Digital Performance Commercial Development, and Best Digital Performance Hotel Residence.
