[Special Advertising Feature] Gorgeous villas, beautifully located on the sunset side of Thailand’s ‘Pearl of the Andaman’ isle of Phuket, Botanica Luxury Villas by Botanica Luxury Phuket Co., Ltd are marvels of modern-day tropical architectural design.
The development is within walking distance of markets and a shopping centre, and is just over a kilometre from the tranquil shores of Bangtao Beach, one of the longest stretches of sands on the island and part of an exclusive coastal area known as Millionaire’s Mile.
The developer has a winning reputation for creating contemporary private pool villas in Phuket, having focused on this niche market for the last 15 years.
The latest project, the company’s grandest yet, achieved highly commended in the Best Housing Development (Phuket) and Best Housing Architectural Design (Resort) categories at the 14th annual PropertyGuru Thailand Property Awards in August 2019. Ensuring a cohesive design concept, the architectural design, interiors, and landscaping are all being created by in-house teams.
Aimed at the vacation rental and holiday home markets, with the ready-to-move-in appeal, the 24 attractive residences with customised designs feature usable areas of between 600 to 1,144 square metres, accommodating up to five bedrooms.
The one- and two-storey elements combine to create a style concept that is focused on light, airy, island living; letting the simplicity of high ceilings and open plan interiors positively flow.
Glass doors slide and concertina open to link the indoor spaces with the well-positioned pool terrace and sundeck at various points, affording privacy while achieving a feeling of expansive openness.
Windows above these glass doors add another layer of spaciousness, letting in even more natural sunlight, as well as creating a lifted feeling that adds to the overall elegance of the detached villas.
The large swimming pool, tiled using natural stone, sparkles at the centre of each villa. Meanwhile the vaulted teak wood ceiling and traditional roof design anchor the chic style, with a classically oriental edge that is effortlessly glamorous in a laidback rather than over stylised manner.
The clever way in which open-air space is created was one of the standout elements of the project for this year’s judges.
“The spaciously appointed interiors of Botanica Luxury Villas by Botanica Luxury Phuket Co., Ltd merge with the outdoors to celebrate al fresco lifestyles, with an overextended eave creating additional lounge or dining areas on the terrace, complete with grand pillars, and tile flooring that seamlessly transitions from the inside to the outside.”
The green areas are landscaped, neat, and low-maintenance; dynamically adding a splash of colour to the white walls, façade, and tiles. Meanwhile, natural woods and stone walls ground the modernity of Botanica Luxury Villas with an overall identity of a relaxing island retreat within a setting of mountain scenery.
Each villa is perfectly positioned, with green hedges and trees that are used to define a family getaway stay that is not overlooked and has the character of a sublime sanctuary in the sun.
