[Special Advertising Feature] Classy 1920s design inspiration comes to Thailand’s Eastern Seaboard, creating a modern take on glamour with a sophisticated minimalism vibe and easy-living spaces with Patta Prime by Patta Development.
The detached villa project in Chonburi Province’s Nong Plalai is situated on the outskirts of Pattaya, less than a couple of hours from Bangkok.
With investment in the Eastern Economic Corridor redefining a new level of real estate potential in the area, residents are increasingly attracted to stylishly designed housing; with detached homes that are functional, private, and exclusive.
The locally-based developer has been carving out a solid reputation for quality in this part of the country for close to 15 years and scooped two wins at the 14th annual PropertyGuru Thailand Property Awards in August 2019; Best Housing Development (Eastern Seaboard) and a WiseSight award for Best Digital Performance Housing Development (Provincial).
Founded 16 years ago by an architect from the US, Bangkok-based design consultancy Whitespace is involved with the development’s architecture as well as the landscaping; bringing an integrated branding focus and a global perspective to the creative direction.
Also based in the capital, Whatandhow injects “thoughtful, provocative space, brand, and surroundings” in creating the interiors.
The site, which is around 68 rai, is home to an array of detached units, with several distinct layouts. The CROWN, single-storey homes feature three bedrooms and four bathrooms, with 220 square metres of usable space.
Two-storey houses comprise of the TIARA, boasting 180 sqm, with three bedrooms and bathrooms; and the CORONET with three bedrooms and four bathrooms covering 200 sqm of living spaces, including a second-floor area that can be customised to fit residents’ preferences. Meanwhile, each property comes with an optional pool.
For this year’s judges, the development impressed by putting quality of life at the heart of the project.
“Spacious, well-ventilated, and attracting natural light, Patta Prime homes by Patta Development is designed to fit the lifestyles of modern families, creating contemporary Eastern Seaboard retreats that embrace the relaxed air of the Riviera of Asia; while Art Deco design details add a touch of class.”
The bold style of the exteriors is created with steel, glass, and stone set in geometric forms, while the interiors envelop a warm, inviting character that also lets light in with high ceilings and sliding glass doors. Ventilation and well-appointed shared spaces inspire a sense of movement and flow, with the kitchen, dining room, and living room connecting.
With a vertical garden that complements the gradient of the landscaping, the outdoors add elements of natural beauty with tree-lined roads and a pathway next to a canal; continuing the theme of modern and bold with a relaxed, delicate design touch that resonates in the architecture, as well as the setting.
In terms of facilities, Patta Prime includes a clubhouse, designed in keeping with the rest of the buildings, with a fully-equipped gym. There is also a salt-chlorinated swimming pool with poolside loungers and a small pavilion for relaxation.
A residents’ common room living space comes with connectivity. Another standout feature is the tennis court, while there are green, park spaces bringing balance to the Patta Development complex.
