Highly commended awards were also achieved for Utopia Maikhao in the Best Housing Development (Phuket) category, along with Best Condo Architectural Design (Resort) for Utopia Karon.
Talented in-house designers and creatives have been combining their experience to direct the architecture, interiors, and landscaping of the three award-winning condominiums.
The winning project comprises 220 two-storey condominium units with one or two bedrooms, ranging from 37 to 61 square metres, as well as 16 single-storey places. Within easy reach of the southern beaches of Naiharn and Rawai, the development brings a modern feel to the laid-back coastal areas.
For this year’s judges, the character of the overall design language left a lasting impression that translated into a praiseworthy statement.

Contemporary, industrial finishes and a sympathetic design that complements the natural forest setting and maximising the use of space creates youthful energy that appeals to today’s generation.
This includes curved architectural lines and a lagoon-style swimming pool, while the green landscaping and rockery within the waterpark add to the oasis-feel of the site.
The raw concrete façade portrays a sense of simplicity that resonates with the serenity of the surroundings and the island’s scenic beauty as a whole. Meanwhile, neighbouring sister projects, Utopia Condo and Villa Naiharn imbue added interest and diversity.
Serving the residential community are two rooftop pools, a relaxation pool with a bar, and two restaurants. There are a gym and spa, as well.
