Despite a market slowdown in 3Q18, the Bank of Thailand (BoT)’s new home loan regulations in 2Q19 is expected to spur more units transfers between 4Q18 and 1Q19. Demand and supply are also expected to decline during the general election in 2019, as concerns have been raised about subsequent political unrest as well as the direction of new government policies.
