DDproperty Property Market Outlook 2020

The property market will continue to dampen from 4Q18 and this slowdown is expected until 4Q20. Poor economic performance, high household debt and the Bank of Thailand’s Loan-to-Value policy requiring higher deposits are cited as factors for this. Consequently, an oversupply is predicted in some areas.

In 2020, developers are aiming to clear their backlog of unsold units using campaigns and promotions, creating the perfect timing for consumers to secure a good price.
