Phuket property The Deck, being developed in the heart of Patong by award-winning Thai property developer Sansiri, recently celebrated a construction milestone as the top level was reached.

With overall construction work at 50 percent and structural work at 98 percent, Uthai Uthaisangsuk, Senior Executive Vice President Business Development and Project Development division joined his colleagues at the development to celebrate the topping-off.

A spokesperson for Sansiri said The Deck is the company’s first condominium development in Phuket’s tourism heartland of Patong, and since its launch last year the development has been well-received by the market.

“With construction now more than 50 percent complete and on schedule, today we celebrate the topping-off of the two-building, seven-storey development.”

The THB1.4 billion development has attracted a mixed demographic of buyers, both local and nationwide Thai and expat residents, as well as buyers from overseas. Its prime location in the heart of Patong together with the design and build quality has resulted in strong sales since the development’s launch mid-2013.

“The Deck has generated a lot of interest since it was launched last year. Buyers like the location, which is just a five-minute walk from Patong Beach, and the unique design concept.

“With starting prices of THB4.6 million, buyers see The Deck as a sound lifestyle investment and offering strong rental return potential,” noted Sansiri.

Buyers can also opt to join the ‘Rental for the Holidays’ programme with a free furniture package and 9 percent guaranteed yields for two years.

Located on Rat-U-Thit 200 Years Road in Patong Beach, the project is a five-minute walk from Patong Beach and 10-minutes from the international shopping and lifestyle centre Jungceylon.

The Deck comprises 270 units in two 7-storey buildings with three different room types: Studio (29.50sqm to 38.50 sqm), one-bedroom (40.50sqm to 50.50 sqm), and two-bedroom (63sqm to 75 sqm).

The development also features two swimming pools: a 50-metre lap pool with Jacuzzi, and a pool on the upper deck of one of the buildings, including an adjacent sun bathing area. A fully-equipped exercise room, landscaped garden and outdoor recreation area, wi-fi in the lobby and swimming pool area, 24-hour security and 24-hour CCTV, and ample parking complete the facilities.

The project is on schedule to complete in July 2015.
