Quality Houses (QH) officially launched Q Sukhumvit, the first super luxury project located at the head of Sukhumvit Road, at a recent press conference. The condominium, which is adjacent to the Nana BTS station, is 42-stories and will be the largest of its kind in the area. Every single element and detail of the design was finely chosen by the developer to meet international standards, the company noted in a press release.

The developer is hoping the launch, as well as other promotional activities, will attract affluent buyers to Q Sukhumvit, which has become the company’s flagship project. Suwanna Bhuddhaprasart, senior executive vice president at Quality Houses, said she hopes the launch will help stimulate the super luxury market segment.

Quality Houses believes the project will be attractive to three types of buyers. The first two are families who want to reside downtown and business owners and executives who want to live near their workplace. According to Suwanna, the third type of buyer will be investors are likely to be attracted to the project for many different reasons.

Q Sukhumvit has good investment potential since it is a high-end project that offers more state-of-the-art facilities than other projects in the same price range. Additionally, it is located on a large plot of land right next to a BTS station, which is a rarity in today’s market. It also happens to be situated in a prime Bangkok location where land prices continue to increase each year.

“The affluent consumer’s purchasing power still continues, and there is nothing to worry about in this sector. There’s still a lot of demand, but the challenge is to create something that meets their real needs,” Suwanna said in a press release. She added that this group of consumers looks for prime downtown locations with sophisticated interior and exterior design to reflect their luxurious lifestyle, which she believes is something Q Sukhumvit will produce.
