New Pattaya mixed-use project to open in March

Harbor Pattaya is hoping to become the biggest family entertainment center in the ASEAN and the first phase of the project should open in March of this year, Pattaya Today reported. “The Family Paradise” is the theme of the project and officials believe this can help Pattaya strengthen its position as a leading tourism destination in the region.

The development will cost THB2 billion in total and will be a mixed-used development with more than 100,000 sqm of space. Once fully completed there will be a lifestyle shopping mall, an IT center, a family edutainment center, an ice rink, Thailand’s largest snow town and a premium office building.

The lifestyle shopping area which includes restaurants, supermarkets, banks and retail outlets along with the IT mall and some areas of the Harbor Family Entertainment Center will be open for business once Harbor Pattaya opens its doors in March with other parts to open later on, Pattaya Today noted.

In addition to the shopping area and family entertainment options, there will be an office complex as well as a fitness area. The aim of developers is to create a project that meets all the needs of visitors as well as residents. A few tenants have already been announced including MaxValu, Starbucks, iStudio, SCB and MK Restaurant and the company believes several brand name clothing stores, Thai and international restaurants and additional banks will also take up space at Harbor Pattaya.

The project will also feature the biggest entertainment and learning center in Pattaya consisting of a kids’ area, indoor playground and education center once completed. This includes Harbor Land which will feature a world-class indoor playground and the biggest interactive play fortress in the ASEAN. The facility will have an area of more than 2,500 sqm.

Other entertainment venues include The Rink Ice Arena which will be the first ice skating rink on the Eastern Seaboard. It will also host the first figure skating show in the ASEAN. Jump XL Trampoline Park, Snow Playground, the largest snow town in Thailand, and Kidzoona & Molly Fantasy are a few other groups that have also already been confirmed for the project.
