Grandhome is known for supplying tiles, bathroom fixtures, kitchenware and home décor items to developers and construction companies in Thailand for them to build homes. The company is now looking to build a new home for itself and will spend THB 1 billion for its store in the Bangna district of Bangkok, reports local media.

The company hopes its flagship Grandhome Bangna will be the hub of construction materials in the city. It sits on 25 rai of land on Bangna Road and will help Grandhome reach its target of 10 per cent growth in 2017. With real estate in Thailand increasing, the company believes the new store allows it to better serve both developers and those looking to complete home projects
.
“Developers also focus more on offering the right size and design to meet the needs of their target buyers. We are investing THB 1 billion to introduce Grandhome Bangna, our new flagship store which covers an area of 20,000 sq m, located on Bangna Km10 Road, at the intersection between Bangna-Trad and Kanchanapisek Roads,” says Peerapon Thayanuwat, Executive Vice President for Business Development of Grand Home Mart Company Limited, to The Nation.

The 3-storey shopping complex will have a contemporary feel with special features, such as the Tiles Theater Zone, designed to provide a unique experience. There is also a rooftop lounge and several restaurants can be found throughout the store.

“The store is designed to meet the needs of developers and buyers in this economic climate, targeting B grade and above. This group of customers has high purchasing power and continue to expand. They have inspirations and have a budget in mind, so they want a well-designed showroom where they can look at all the possibilities. It took more than two years to complete this project. The store can cater to customers in Bangna and other areas in Bangkok, as well as real estate projects from big to small,” says Peerapon.
