The 12th annual Thailand Property Awards saw more than 100 winning and highly commended companies and projects honoured. The most outstanding real estate in Bangkok, Samui, Hua Hin, Khao Yai, the Eastern Seaboard, and Phuket was celebrated along with world-class design and construction.
The top honour went to Ananda Development who won Best Developer. This was the 1st time the company has won the top prize in the 12-year history of the Thailand Property Awards. It was 1 of 3 gongs given to Ananda whose Ashton Residence 41 project in Bangkok also won accolades in the luxury condo development and design categories.
“With passion and determination to improve living standards in Thailand, Ananda Development has made strides with its ‘UrbanTech’ agenda for its residential and commercial projects, leading the path for Thai developers to push for smarter and more sustainable developments,” says the independent judging panel led by Suphin Mechuchep, Managing Director of JLL Thailand.
Sansiri won a total of 4 golden trophies this year, which was the most for any developer. The company won Best High-Rise High End Condo Development (Bangkok) as well as receiving a Special Recognition in Corporate Social Responsibility for its commitment to the environment, sustainability, and youth development and empowerment.
Other big winners include Charn Issara Development who won Best Housing Development (Thailand) for its Baan Sita Wan project in Khao Yai and Major Development who was presented with Best Condo Development (Thailand) for the luxurious MARQUE Sukhumvit.
Phuket-based MontAzure, collected the honour for Best Mixed Use Development. This was the 1st year that award has been given. Origin Group won a gong for its work in the Eastern Seaboard with Knightsbridge The Ocean Sriracha taking the prize for Best Luxury Condo Development. Meanwhile Best Condo Landscape Architectural Design went to Park24 by Proud Residences Co., Ltd. this year.
