Sansiri has decided to be active in the 4th quarter despite other developers opting to wait until next year before launching new projects. The company revealed it is ready to launch 11 new projects valued at THB26 billion combined in this quarter as it looks to entice buyers during the high season, reports local media.
“The final quarter is normally the period of the year when potential buyers actively make their decision to buy residential units. And with the country’s economic growth estimated at 3-4%this year, boosted by recovering domestic spending and growing tourism, the residential purchase prospects are even more promising,” says Sansiri President Srettha Thavisin to the Nation.
The company will launch 7 low-rise developments as well as 4 condo projects. Of these, 1 condo will be developed under Sansiri’s joint venture with the BTS Group. Sansiri earned THB24 billion in pre-sales in the first 9 months of this year which was a 20% increase from last year’s total. The company believes the new launches will help it reach its sales goal for 2017.
“We’ve set a sales target of THB16 billion in the final quarter and with previous successful sales to both Thai and foreign buyers, as well as the company’s plan to launch a combined 11 new projects in the 4th quarter, we believe we can achieve the annual sales target of THB40 billion by the end of this year,” says Srettha.
One trend Sansiri has noted is that its clients continue to want residential projects that match their lifestyle. This has been evident at its 3 projects under the Haus brand which have sold well. The developer is continuing to build this brand and will launch 2 new Haus condo projects before the end of the year. The developments are worth THB8.6 billion combined.
