PropertyGuru Group, Asia’s leading online property group, is pleased to announce the appointment of Jeremy Williams as Chief Operating Officer (COO). In this newly-created role, Jeremy will lead PropertyGuru’s strategic projects, maximise operational efficiencies and manage the talent organisation across the Group’s offices in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia.
Jeremy brings with him a wealth of international experience having worked in the consumer internet and aviation industries across financial, business development and general management roles in Asia and the US. Prior to joining PropertyGuru Group, Jeremy was the Group Chief Financial Officer at CarTrade.com, India’s leading auto classifieds company. Jeremy was also part of the founding management team at CarTrade.com and played an instrumental role in taking the company to its leadership position. During his tenure, the company raised US$ 230 million in institutional capital from leading investors, including Warburg Pincus, Temasek and Tiger Global. He played a key role in the acquisition of CarWale.com, one of India’s largest internet acquisitions, and the post-merger integration.
