The undergoing development of BTS blue line has allowed developers to forge away at reviving the trend of Fung Thon properties along the west side of Chao Phraya River including Pinklao, Charan Sanitwong, Tha Phra and Bangkae district. To further the course, the orange line transit extending from Taling Chan to Thailand Cultural Centre as well as the red line making connection between Taling Chan and Salaya were forthcoming. Fung Thon in due course, will be a happening place with 3 major transit lines in total running throughout the city and providing for passages at the residents’ conveniences. The three make quite an expansive public transit system for Fung Thon, which attracts Ananda Development to build a condo on Charan Sanitwong Rd going by the name of Ideo Mobi Charan Interchange after the (undone) nearby interchange station. This high-rise condo debut in 2014 and achieved a critical acclaim of 85% selling rate in short time. It was expected to be 100% sold out next year or anon.

The blue line intersects with the red line and orange line.

Before the blue line transit was created, among those set along Chao Phraya River, the areas of Pinklao and Borommaratchachonnani were considered as the best spots for developing high-rise abodes having the right landscapes coupled with acceptable prices for land. Especially, Rachaphruek was all the rage with the highest selling price per residential unit to offer. In contrast, a number of factors were agreeable to the low level of developers’ interests towards Fung Thong, because it had neither the capacity to support high-rise structures nor any easy access to transportation. But for the past 2-3 years, the expansion of the transportation system including the blue line, orange line, red line, and inner and outer roads newly cut, has brought Fung Thon into the spotlight, giving rise to various condo developments along with an increase in prices for lands of Fung Thon. It’s expected to heat up when all extended transit lines come to completion.

As of the present state of affairs, the piles of the blue line transit have been laid upon the median strip amid Charan Sanitwong Rd, with contiguous packs of 2-4 storey commercial buildings lined on both of its sides. Reaching from Bangsue to Tha Phra with several train stops in-between, the blue line is expected to complete by 2017, followed by the underground railway of the orange line transit to extend from Taling Chan to Thailand Cultural Centre in 2019 with Bangkhunnon station nearest to Ideo Mobi Charan Interchange. In addition, the red line will as well be finished and able to operate in due time, as the project was designated to begin in 2016. It will be set in between Bangkhunnon Rd and the train railway. Drive along Ratchaphruek Rd and take the left turn onto the road lined with the train railway. Stay on that road for approximately 4 kilometres and you will reach the point where Ratchaphruek meets Charan Sanitwong. There, you make a right on the road crossing the railway. Continue straight for no less than 500 metres and turn around at the junction near Makro Charan. Drive down on that lane for 200 metre and the condo can be found adjacent to the road.

The second direction is to drive down Phetchkasem Rd. towards Tha Phra intersection and as soon as getting there, make a right onto the road towards Fai Chai T-junction past Siam Institute of Technology and crossing the bridge across Morn canal. After passing through the T-junction continue along the road approximately 4km and you will wind up at the condo.

The third direction is to cross Phra Pin-klao Bridge and then Arun Amarin Bridge. Make a right at the intersection near Siriraj Hospital onto Wang Lang Rd. Continue along the road to Phran Nok Rd to Fai Chai T Junction, then make a right. Go down the road approximately 1km and the condo is sided by the road.

Last, if coming from Rama VII Rd. cross Rama VII Bridge and descend onto Charan Sanitwong Rd. Pass through Borommaratchachonnani intersection and stay on the road for another 1.5 km and the condo is found on the opposite lane of the road. Make a U-turn at Makro Charan and drive back 200 metre to enter the condo.
