Asian Property Development saw robust demand for townhouses and detached houses for Q1 2013, boosting the company’s presales to THB3.8 billion, up five percent over its THB3.6 billion target.
Low-rise homes make up 54 percent of the company’s presales for the quarter while condominiums accounted for the rest, said Vittakarn Chandavimol, Chief Strategic Marketing Officer of Asian Property, adding that demand for townhouses worth THB5 million recorded strong growth.
As a result, Asian Property plans to launch 13 new townhouses throughout the year. Among those to be launched are the Plano, Aspire and Rhythm brands. The move is in line with the company’s business plan to launch 26 residential developments worth THB30 billion in 2013.
Meanwhile, the company has launched its new design of detached houses under the Soul brand to cater to the growing demand for said homes near the central business districts of Bangkok and priced from THB15 million to THB25 million.
“Soul is our new brand that will focus on the mid-to-upper-income market,” said Vittakarn.
Three Soul projects worth THB2.91 billion are planned to be launched this year with the first project, Soul Ekamai-Ladprao, slated for grand opening on 18 May. Five of the 82 units of this first project were already sold.
The other two projets will be in the Ratchada 68 and the Lat Phrao-Wang Hin areas and will be launched this quarter.
The company also aims to increase presales of 2013’s first half to THB9 billion and targets THB22 billion for the full-year.
