The number of new property registrations dropped 7 percent during the first four months of the year according to newly released data.
Condominium registrations declined by 32 percent while registrations of low-rise residences, which include detached houses and townhouses, dropped 39 percent.
Issara Boonyoung, Adviser to the Housing Business Association and Chief Executive Officer of Kanda Property, attributed the decline to labour shortages which have seen delays in some property projects being delivered to their owners.
