To celebrate the outstanding performance and strong future potential of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Thailand, Siam Commercial Bank (SCB) and the Sasin Graduate Institute of Business Administration of Chulalongkorn University recently honoured five top local SMEs at the 10th Bai Po Business Awards by Sasin.
In a statement, SCB said SMEs form the backbone of Thailand’s economy and some of them have performed as well or even better in key areas than larger businesses.
The five award winners this year are listed below:
1. President Automobile Industries Co., Ltd.
2. Kanomthai Kao Peenong Co., Ltd.
3. Thai Agricultural Machinery Co., Ltd.
4. Thai Central Mechanics Co., Ltd.
5. Srichand United Dispensary Co., Ltd.
Mr. Anand Panyarachun, Chairman of the bank’s board of directors, graced the awards ceremony which was held at SCB’s Talad Noi branch.
