Property developer Country Group Development (CGD) and Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts will jointly develop a luxury hotel and residential property along Bangkok’s famed Chao Phraya River.

Dubbed Chao Phraya Estate (pictured), the low-density, mixed-use development is valued at 32 billion baht and is touted as Country Group’s largest project to date.

Covering a land area of 14.2 acres and 350 metres of river frontage, the new Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences will contribute greatly to the revitalisation of the waterway.

Located within a 73-storey tower, the 350 high-end apartments will offer unobstructed views of the city skyline, while the hotel component will comprise more than 300 rooms and suites. Hotel guests can enjoy world-class amenities and dining options.

Commenting, Ben Taechaubol, Chief Executive Officer of CGD said: “After undertaking extensive relocation efforts and securing one of Bangkok’s last remaining undeveloped large parcels of riverside land in the CBD, our aim is to create a meaningful, luxury experience that is unmatched in the market. In aligning with Four Seasons, a global icon in luxury hospitality and utilizing world-class design teams, we are excited to set a new benchmark for luxury in Bangkok.”

The residential sales gallery is slated to open this month while the entire development is due for completion at the end of 2018.
