In order to further entice buyers and take full advantage of the government’s recently implemented property stimulus measures , property developers across Thailand are unveiling new promotional campaigns they hope will boost sales.

AP Thailand announced a two-day campaign that includes a waiver on all expenses on transfer dates as well as free furniture. This event will take place on 31st October and 1st November.

Quality Houses announced that it will start a promotional campaign some time in November as it attempts to compete with other developers, and Pruksa Real Estate will launch its campaign this week as the company hopes to take advantage of the newly enacted government stimulus measures as well.

Sansiri is offering the most thorough promotional campaign as the company aggressively targets buyers. The developer has introduced on-top discounts for 62 residential projects nationwide that have remaining units available for sale priced from THB1.5 to THB40 million.

These on-top discounts including waiving transfer fees for homebuyers purchasing a ready-to-move-in unit. Sansiri also introduced a special discount for all housing types including single houses, townhouses and condos. This offer is scheduled to end on Nov 30.

The government incentives including a reduction in mortgage and transfer fees to 0.01 percent and 0.02 percent from one percent and two percent, respectively, would help to boost the housing market, Sansiri chief operating officer Wanchak Buranasiri told the newspaper. “The housing market in this year’s fourth quarter and the first quarter of 2016 will grow incredibly, boosted by these incentives,” he noted.

The company said it expects the low-end housing segment, where units are priced below THB3 million, to benefit the most from the incentives as they also include a deduction in personal income tax. Sansiri has 62 projects at the moment with 35 percent of the available units priced below THB3 million.
