Sansiri selling The Line in Singapore

Prolific Thai developer Sansiri achieved a complete sell-out of all 841 units at its latest development, The Line Jatujak – Morchit – during its worldwide launch in Bangkok, Singapore and Hong Kong last weekend.

The project is the first joint-venture development between the Sansiri and BTS Group Holding PLC. It is Sansiri’s largest project to date with a value of US$178 million.

The company described the response as “simply overwhelming”.

More than 5,000 visitors attended the consecutive launch events, with half of that number being overseas property investors in Singapore and Hong Kong.

Sansiri claims this is the highest number of people to attend an overseas property exhibition by a Thai property developer promoting a single project anywhere overseas.

More than 121 units of The Line were sold to overseas buyers from Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan and China, representing 20 percent of all sales. The remaining 80 percent of sales came from the Thai market.

The most-popular purchases were one-bedroom units, while two- and three-bedroom units also were also popular for buyers seeking larger spaces.

Developed under the concept of ‘Location is Everything’, The Line Jatujak – Mochit’ underlined the market leadership and brand strength of the Sansiri brand overseas as a leader in Thailand’s premium-class condominiums along the routes of Bangkok’s mass transit systems.

The project is situated very near to BTS Mo Chit and MRT Jatujak Park and benefits from all-round panoramic views of three largest parks in Bangkok..

Apichart Chutrakul, Chief Executive Officer of Sansiri, said: “We are delighted to announce the day-one global sell-out of yet another exciting project by Sansiri.

“Southern China and Hong Kong, along with Singapore, all close neighborus to Thailand, are some of Sansiri’s current high-potential markets in the area which are short, direct flight distances away.

“Due to these reasons, we launched presales of this project in three international markets for the first time ever in order to offer a valuable, time-sensitive opportunity for foreigners along with our strong Thai buyers who are young pioneering spirits looking for a convenient lifestyle yet accessibility for working in the city.”

The Line Jatujak-Mochit is a 43-storey, 841-unit, high-rise residential complex situated on a prime 4-rai land plot. It offers unrivalled convenience and location right in the heart of Bangkok’s emerging key business district.

Prices started at THB4 million.
