PropertyGuru Honored By Influential Brands As Top Online Property Search

PropertyGuru was recognised as one of the region’s best brands by Influential Brands, a leader in branding knowledge, know how and expertise in Asia. The leading online property group was honored as one of the region’s most influential brands in 2016.

The company was highlighted for its digital efforts, which span over nine countries in Southeast Asia. PropertyGuru lists thousands of properties for sale and rent with detailed information about each property, including maps and photos and has become the go to source for those looking to purchase real estate in the region.

Other companies to be recognised by Influential Brands in the digital category include taxi booking mobile app Grab, online shopping outlet Lazada and job search website JobStreet.com. A total of 60 organisations were rewarded for their brand excellence and leadership this year.

Influential Brands, a think-tank, research and brand recognition platform, selected its Influential Brands Top Brand 2016 awardees through extensive market research based on more than 6,000 generation Y consumer’s preference.

In addition to this, Hari V Krishnan, CEO of PropertyGuru, was invited to take part in the CEO Panel Discussion during the Celebrating Entrepreneurship & Brand
Leadership in Asia gala event on Monday. More than 100 companies were represented at the event, which was attended by local, regional top brands and brand leaders from five countries.

During his time on the panel, Hari talked about the exciting aspects of conducting an online business across multiple markets. The panel offered guests key information on how companies can ready themselves for the future, reactivity in providing the right information, building trust online through transparency and creativity in content creation.
