bonus and pay rise

Jobs in the property and real estate sectors are among the highest paying in Thailand according to recent research from JobsDB Thailand. Management-level salaries in the real estate industry start at an average of THB87,500 a month making these positions more lucrative than jobs in the science, laboratory work and research and development fields.

Information from more than 40,000 companies was used and over 75 percent of the businesses surveyed are located in Bangkok. The job search company believes these findings are a good indication that real estate businesses continue to grow and are looking for the best candidates on the market. With infrastructure projects such as the mass-transit system in Greater Bangkok unlocking new areas for property, jobs in real estate should stay among the highest paying ones in Thailand for the foreseeable future.

The starting salary for real estate professionals in management-level positions is more than THB 4,000 per month than the next highest category. However, the difference in salary is less noticeable for supervisory and entry-level positions with real estate companies paying roughly the same as other industries.

Experts point out that employees looking to climb the career ladder must sharpen their current skills and learn new ones. Doing this helps them become specialists in their fields and allows them to reach the managerial level where competition for roles can be fierce.

“We want to help working people recognize opportunities in their career field and prepare themselves well, through skill development and efficiency enhancement, for next-generation industries,” Noppawan Chulakanista, managing director of jobsDB Thailand, told the media. “Our salary survey covers all career levels to provide a remuneration guideline.”
It was noted that the top jobs in demand for this year are ones related to sales, customer service and business development. This is for all levels from management openings to entry level positions.
