AP Thailand is known for having established the country’s 1st property school in 2015. Aimed at providing comprehensive real estate learning, the AP Academy recently accepted 50 students from 19 schools to join its AP Open House 2017 Intensive Internship Programme.
The students will be trained by AP professionals in civil engineering, for engineering students, and marketing and sales, for students in other disciplines, as part of the 2-month programme. The interns will see how property development and related topics work in person. There will also be opportunities for the students to take real action and each intern will have a personal coach to guide them. The latest class will be 2nd to participate in the AP Academy scheme with the developer hoping to train the next wave of real estate professionals.
“Our aims are to develop personnel and improve work standards at every step of the process from start to the delivery of goods and services of the highest AP quality to customers and ensure that the company’s real estate practice is the most comprehensive in Thailand,” says Pumipat Sinacharoen, Chief People Officer at AP Thailand.
The most outstanding students will be rewarded with a field trip to Japan where they will have a chance to learn more about the real estate industry with AP Thailand and their business partner Mitsubishi Estate Group. Students who excel during the programme will also be welcome to apply for open positions at AP Thailand.
“Some of the students were Year 3 students, so they will have to complete their degree before they can apply for a job with us. We have students from AP Open House 2016 who applied for open positions at AP Thailand, and they have become one of the valuable team members of the company. If we have any position opening, and any AP Open House’s students meet the qualifications we are looking for, we definitely welcome them to have a good career opportunity at AP Thailand,” says Pumipat.
