New Contest Will Find Bangkok’s Fastest Champion Racer

5 Jul 2017

Impact Speed Park has become a popular destination with leisure seekers from Bangkok and around the region. In order to offer visitors more excitement, Impact Speed Park announced a new initiative designed to provide drivers with even more of a challenge.

The ‘Impact Speed Park Champion Racer’ contest has been created to determine just who is best driver. The top 10 fastest drivers in the adult male category and the top 5 drivers in the adult female and child categories will be allowed to take part in an invitation-only ‘Race of Champions’. The new initiative builds on the popularity of the facility’s current ‘Fastest Time of the Month’ contest.

Starting in June, the winner of each ‘Impact Speed Park Champion Racer’ group will receive several prizes including Adidas motorsport gloves, Impact Speed Park t-shirts, go-kart sessions and Breeze Café & Bar dining vouchers. The prize pack is worth over THB 10,000.

The company is hoping its new contest brings even more people to Impact Speed Park. User numbers have surpassed initial projections with a significant portion of these being return visitors. However, Impact Speed Park wants to appeal to more customers who can enjoy racing in a safe environment.

“We have really worked to ensure that Impact Speed Park is accessible to all walks of life and that everyone can have maximum enjoyment of the track. We have been delighted by the cross section of people have visited and in particular how quickly we have made a footprint in the tourist market as well as niche categories such as students and of course corporate users. Our strategy is to build on that accessibility and all our initiatives are designed so that everyone has the chance to win. So we’re very excited to introduce the ‘Champion Racer’ that will really allow users the opportunity to qualify this contest every time they take to the track,” says Piyathida Thurachon, Director of Leisure & Entertainment, in a press release.
