True To Open World's Largest Co-Working Space In Bangkok

True Group plans to bring the world’s largest co-working space to Bangkok. The company announced that it will open True Digital Park before the end of next year. It will have 30,000 square meters dedicated to co-working which could surpass the current record holder, reports local media.

“Our co-working space of 30,000 square meters is probably the world’s largest co-working space, larger than the current largest in France. We expect our space to be fully occupied before the grand opening by the end of 2018,” says Thanasorn Jaidee, President of True Digital Park, a subsidiary of True Corporation, to the Bangkok Post.

True Group has invested THB500 million in True Digital Park as it wanted to create a space that supported the government’s Thailand 4.0 initiative which aims to make the country the digital hub of Asean.

The 1st phase of the project will have 40,000 square meters and is set to open next year. Businesses have already expressed interest in booking some 40 per cent of the total space available. The entire True Digital Park will span 77,000 square meters when the remaining phases are finished in 2022. The project is located inside the Whizdom101 mixed-use development which is on Sukhumvit Road.

There will be 4 spaces set up at True Digital Park, all of which are designed to help start-ups and other businesses. There is a co-working space, enterprise space, innovation space, and events and business services space at the complex.

“Only at True Digital Park will corporations and start-ups be exposed to amazing talent and inspiring figures from around the globe to foster knowledge-sharing and digital innovation. The park will be home to leading accelerators, incubators, VCs, and investors from the region and overseas. The project will create a positive impact and attract funding and investment to drive the economy and society on a digital platform towards Thailand 4.0,” says Thanasorn.
