Renaissance Hotel Debuts In Pattaya

Renaissance Hotels has opened the Renaissance Pattaya Resort & Spa in the Jomtien Beach area. It is the brand’s 1st property in the Eastern Seaboard and will be owned by The Ninesotel Co, reports local media. The property, which opened in the middle of November, is the 4th Renaissance branded hotel in Thailand.

“I am excited to introduce the first Renaissance branded property in Pattaya. The new resort offers the ultimate retreat for guests looking for unexpected and local experiences; all within a stone’s throw from the excitement and energy that Pattaya has to offer,” says Renaissance Pattaya Resort & Spa General Manager Saurabh Kukreja to Pattaya Today.

The hotel has a total of 257 rooms and there are 4 room types available in the resort. The interiors at the resort were designed by Thailand’s P49 Design & Associates Co. Design throughout the hotel was inspired by Pattaya’s history as a small fishing village. This concept has been blended with sleek, modern elements to create a design that is appealing to everyone.

“For today’s business travellers, it is unexpected experiences that create social currency and interesting cocktail conversation. We are thrilled to provide spontaneous discoverers with exciting opportunities for new, interesting, and shareable experiences throughout their stay. Nowadays, apart from doing business, tourists who are businesspeople expect to get different experiences,” says Mike Fulkerson, Vice President of Brand and Marketing for Marriott International Asia Pacific.

Recreational facilities at Renaissance Pattaya Resort & Spa include 2 outdoor swimming pools, a children’s pool, kids club, a 24 hour fitness centre, and a luxury spa. There is also an all-day dining restaurant, 609 Kitchen, at the property along with Pebbles Bar and Grill where guests will be able to choose from various food and drink options. A number of daily specials featuring local ingredients will be served at both the restaurant and the bar.
